Dental Implants

Dental implants consist of mainly three parts. The implant body, the abutment (made out of titanium) and crown (the visible part of the tooth). The final result of a dental implant resembles very much a natural tooth, not only in the way it looks but in the way they feel.
Today, most dental implants have a similar form to the natural roots of teeth. The way implants work is that they integrate with the surrounding jaw bone providing a solid anchor for the crown.
Dental implants are used to replace a single missing tooth, multiple missing teeth and can also be used to increase retention on complete dentures. or they can be used to restore function on a complete dental arch by different types of restorations
